Busy, Busy...Mother's Day, dedication and the beach!

My Mother's Day gift from Tyler Jack

Well...if I can keep up with this blog in the future, there will not be so many pics with so much going on! It has been a busy month and a 1/2! Lots of firsts and friends!! We took Tyler Jack to the beach for the first time and he had a wonderful time! We met up with the Harrell family and some of their friends at AJ s Friday night then spent the weekend with the Gerteisen family in Destin! What a wonderful weekend it was.

Before our beach trip was my first Mother's Day! I couldn't have asked for a better one!! My little man made me an adorable tote bag with his little hand prints on it (thanks Mrs. Anna!). We had Tyler Jack's dedication on Sunday (Mother's Day) then had brunch with the fam. I can't tell you what a special weekend this was for me after my long journey to motherhood:-)

Ok...I started this blog just a few days after coming home from the hospital but obviously got preoccupied and never posted again. I am going to try to keep it up so that we can share pictures and updates with family and friends!
Some Firsts:
First time trying rice cereal...yummmy! He had more fun playing with the spoon.

First shot at drinking from a sippy...not too successful!

First time wearing my shades...thanks Kate Mathis!

Exersaucer fun! He loves his exersaucer...thanks cousin Ansleigh:-)

Hanging with big cousin Ansleigh!

Choo choo! Love the overalls and conductor hat.

3 month session (well, he was actually almost 5 mos)
Love this one! Big smile/laugh~

The Sellars Family
Parenthood has been a true blessing. Many trials and errors, fun times and difficult times...all definitely worth it. We are loving every minute of raising our little man and I cannot believe it has already been 6 months!

A few fun tidbits:
Loves: Daddy (he gets many more smiles than I do), his exersaucer, his crinkle book, animals, being outside, bath time and little kids (he was yelling at them at a birthday party last weekend-too funny!), oh and I must not forget his elephant! He has a blue elephant that plays a lullaby when you pull his tail. Luckily I found them at Target and bought 2 more-just in case!
Weight at 6 months: 16lbs, 7 oz
Height at 6 months: 26 inches
He has rolled over...but only twice. He bumped into the side of the crib so I guess he decided he didn't want to do that anymore.
He is on the verge of sitting up. Any day now!
Freely gives smiles to anyone and everyone and babbles constantly. Stay tuned for updates as Tyler Jack grows and learns new things with each passing day!
